about

I’m L. I’m 24, and for about a year now I’ve been asking myself questions I never used to ask: what kind of person do I want to become? What am I actually doing with my days? Which habits are quietly shaping me?

Notes in progress is where I try to answer them — badly at first, then a little better. I write about emotions, habits, ambition, failure, mindfulness, relationships, work, and the small moments that shape who we are. Some pieces are personal stories. Others are just thoughts I’m trying to untangle.

I’m not writing from the finish line. There’s no system here, no morning routine to copy. Writing is simply how I slow down and think clearly, and publishing it keeps me honest.

If any of that sounds familiar, I’m glad you’re here.

A dark-toned, moody composition features a black coffee cup on a saucer scattered with coffee beans, sitting on a wooden surface. A brown leather notebook adorned with a unique silver fish-shaped keychain and a gold ring engraved with 'Get busy living or get busy dying' is nearby. A handwritten note with cursive writing and a black fountain pen add a touch of vintage elegance.
